Aster Healthcare on Friday announced the launch of its latest advanced 550-bedded healthcare facility at Trivandrum in Kerala. The company plans to invest a total of Rs.500 crores in the seventh hospital in Kerala out of sixteen hospitals in India. This super specialty facility will have several centers of excellence such as cardiac sciences, organ transplant, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, women and child wellness, gastric science, etc. 

Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman, MD, Aster Healthcare, stated that the Aster Capital Hospital had been designed to become a destination for the highest quality healthcare in the country that will attract medical professionals and patients to the state from abroad owing to the facilities on par with global standards. The hospital will be built on a 5.76 lac square feet area excluding the provision of 1 lac sq. ft. for multi-level car parking. Dr. Azad added that the hospital is expected to add 2000 jobs hiking the total tally to over 10000 professional employment in the state provided by the Aster DM Healthcare group.
